Disable VPN People who are concerned about their privacy maybe using a VPN. Some people also use a VPN that unlocks access to the region-restricted sites. A recent update might have broken something. In that case, it is a good idea to try and disable your VPN connection. See if that fixes the download pending error in Google Play Store. FORCE STOP AND CLEAR DATA this is one of the best and useful method that i ever used if I face downloading pending issue. To clear old data and cache, go to Settings and open Apps and find Google Play store. Once inside, Tap on clear data and restart your PlayStore. RESET APP PREFERENCES personally, I don’t recommend this method, but try this method only when all the ways are failed There is an option to reset app preferences Hidden deep inside app settings. how you can find this options open device Settings>Apps and Notifications>See all apps>Tap on the 3 Dot icon>and hit on this Reset App Prefrences. BAD TIMING Sometimes your smartphone Date and Time also create this types of problem so go to your device settings and fix it.
