This is the brand-new iPad Pro 9.7-inch.
It is about the same size and weight as the iPad Air 2.
Of this size, it’s the most powerful iPad we’ve ever seen.
It’s got the A9X chip, so that’s top-level iPad power.
It does feature a 12-megapixel camera that does in fact stick a little bit out of the
back. It even has something that the iPad Pro doesn’t
have: something called “True Tone,” which supposedly gives it better color for ambient
light. Yes, it has it’s own Smart Keyboard – doesn’t
feel too bad, and it works with the Apple smart Pencil. And here’s the other exciting
part: this is going to be the first iPad with 256GB of storage.
The iPad Pro 9.7-inch is going to start at $599 for 32GB, which is seemingly going to
undercut some of the other products in this category, like the Surface Pro 4.
However, keep in mind that the Smart Keyboard doesn’t come with it, you’re going to have
to pay an extra $149 for that, and then there’s the $99 Apple Pencil.
