Hi. So we are back in Athens with SReXperts. Ten years ago we were in exactly the same place, in the same hotel, and we had five demos. This year we have filled a complete room with demos. Over 20 demos are here on display. What we have here is obviously our new hardware. We have here Dennis. Dennis, last year we were talking about a whole bunch of new FP4-powered routers. What’s new this year? What can you show us? New this year is the 7750 SR-1s, which is modular. You can see the MDA-s’s up on top. Also, coming out new is the IOM-s, which also houses the MDA-s’s for 3 Tb, full duplex. There will be two versions of it – the 1.5 and the 3 Tb/s. Also new is the 7750 SR-2s. The system is shipping now. And last, but not least, is the new QSFP56-DD, 400GE, running full line rate across the system. Excellent. Excellent. So let’s go from the FP4 products and let’s go all the way to the IXR product range. So if you follow me, we’ll go to Pierre. Pierre, we just saw Dennis talking about all the FP4 goodies. What do you have here from the hardware point of view? On the 7250 IXR family – we have a growing family. These two products right here – the 1RU fixed platforms, we’re going to release this year. But the newest member of the family is the 7250 IXR-R4. It’s a 2RU box. It’s basically the baby brother of this box that we released last year, the IXR-R6. OK. And you still have something else there with you, I see. Yes. This is actually another new member of the family – the IXR-Xs. This platform is 4.8 Tb/s with a lot of density on 50GE, 400GE as well. basically the bigger brother of our IXR-s, which we released also recently. OK, thanks, Pierre for showing us this product line, which is a bit different from the FP4 product line that we have seen. So thanks a lot. Let’s see what else we have here in our demo room. So we see the big sign saying “Cloud mobile core”. Mikael, what do you have here for mobile core? Here I’m showing that the user plane function is about how to flexibly adapt to performance and footprint requirements. So from a very small instance to a very large instance we support up to more than 1 Tb/s of IPv6 traffic. That’s 5G sessions. That’s impressive. Moving on, here we show that our Cloud Mobile Gateway is running on containers. That enables us to support scale-out and scale-in very quickly and also in-service software upgrade. Cool. And lastly we have the introduction of control and user plane separation for the BNG. So we have a control plane function that’s unified, that enables us to handle CMG user-plane functions for mobile subscribers, but also your FP3, FP4 and VFP BNG user plane functions for fixed-line subscribers. So this means that we have our universal core for fixed and mobile subscribers. Absolutely. Excellent. Great. Thanks, Mikael. Organizing for SReXperts is really a hard task. You have to be prepared for anything. And in between desserts and coffee, we actually have people, Karyn, who are spending their time here learning, preparing for tests. Why are they doing that? What do you have on offer for them? Thanks, Roland. SReXperts is always a learning event and we bring a mix of learning tools to the event. A focus this week for us is our Cloud Packet Core Expert Certification, which is brand new. And this is supporting the evolution to 5G. So through this curriculum, students will learn about the Cloud Packet Core solution, the cloud-native capabilities, which will support an easier deployment to 5G, and explore the various 5G deployment options. Why is NSP so important this year? Well, you know NSP enables our customers to manage and control the network. Right? And automation is critical these days. So NSP enables us to automate the network for our customers. So it comes with a suite of applications, which we are showing here. A whole bunch of them. You can see on all the screens. But for some other customers we also have NSP as an open platform in order for them to fully customize the platform to their specific needs and program the network the way they want. Here, for instance, we show how we can do this in a multivendor environment. So we have a number of tools that we are showing here. In particular here with intent delivery, you can really express your objective in simple terms and NSP will do all the jobs in order to run the services in the network. Sounds cool. Thanks a lot. OK we are here at the Nuage Networks corner of the room. These guys are too busy. They are explaining SD-WAN and the new SD-WAN portal. But I can see Hans Thienpont. Hi. We are not related or anything like that, Hans. We call ourselves Junior and Senior. I’m Junior; you’re Senior. The guys are too busy with their SD-WAN demo. I read that they are Number 1 in the SD-WAN market at the moment, which is great. Last year we were saying SD-WAN is hot. Now we are Number 1. So that’s extremely hot. That’s super awesome. So what are we showing here at the SReXperts event? The left-hand side for the SD-WAN demo we are showing the updated portal with new and shiny features. On the right-hand side we are showing the SmartNIC integration, which leverages telco clouds to boost performance in terms of packet performance, throughput that they can get to, especially focused on the new 5G core that’s coming towards us, the virtual infrastructure that needs to support that. Stefan! Last year I announced you as the new baby, our new baby. So I was reading last week a press release about Telefonica selecting Deepfield for their network. Yes indeed. That’s right. What are you showing this year? This is what we had actually shown last year, the Deepfield analytics platform. This year is actually an extension to it where Deepfield combines analytics and DDoS detection and so on with FP4 technology to actually mitigate attacks actively in the network. What’s the benefit for operators, combining FP4 with Deepfield? The large benefit is that the FP4 can do the mitigations in line. So the traffic is passing these routers anyway. So it’s the perfect point in the network. If you identify the attack, know where the attacks are coming from, to directly stop them on these routers. Thank you.
