Nokia Sirius – Nokia Windows RT tablet

Nokia Sirius – Nokia Windows RT tablet

>>MARK GUIM: Hey Nokia fans. According to
several sources, Nokia is going to release a 10.1-inch Windows RT-based tablet next month.
Here’s what we know so far: According to winsupersite, the Nokia tablet
which is codenamed Sirius is going to have a Quad-core Qualcomm 8974 CPU, 1920 by 1080
IPS screen with outdoor readability, 10 hours of battery life, optional LTE connectivity,
6.7 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, weighs 1.3 lbs and is 0.35 inches thick. According to the Verge, the Nokia Sirius looks
like a large Lumia device. They also claim it will have a
2 megapixel front facing camera, microSD slot in addition to the 32GB internal storage,
micro HDMI connector, and microUSB port. There’s also an additional keyboard accessory
that includes battery for charging. The price is rumored to be $499 which I think
is a little expensive. I don’t own a tablet right now, but honestly a 32 GB Nexus 7 running
Android for $269 sounds more tempting than a Windows tablet for $499. Nothing is official yet, so I guess we’ll
just have to wait for the announcements. So, what do you guys think about these rumors?
Is this something that you would buy? Let me know in the comments section below. That should be it. I’m Mark Guim for the Nokia
Blog. Thanks for watching.

  1. Yeah I will buy it but I rather a 7" tablet.

  2. I purchased a Surface rt for 499, and while I love it and its a great tablet it is not worth the money I paid. I would assume the Nokia tablet will fall into that same category

  3. hmm, doesn't seem to be anything special from these rumored standard specs so far. I do like the keyboard add-on that also acts as backup battery. I think that should be included in a bundle though. Other than that, unless they add that monster 41MP PureView tech in this, I don't see it going very far.

  4. I put my money on the 32GB Nexus 7 (2013). Nokia is going head-to-head with the iPad 4th Gen (maybe iPad 5th Gen by the time Nokia's tablet is released). Real bad timing! And if it has Windows 8 on it, ay yay yay!! Recipe for Disaster!

  5. I love microsoft, and windows 8 / windows phone, but win8 RT doesnt make any sense.. They should've made it bit thicker and put an intel atom..

  6. Windows RT? One more reason to believe that Elop is a Microsofts's puppet. Hello, nobody wants this piece of crap! Microsoft lost 900 millions with their surface RT and they want Nokia to eat this shit for them. Nokia will lose a fortune on development of a tablet that nobody will buy in the first place so that Microsoft can get their money back. Windows Phone doesn't sell that good so we will throw another product that won't sell at all! YEAH! U JELLY APPLE/GOOGLE?

  7. not for this Money and not for this operating System, i would better by a Windows 8 "tablet" for more Money than this -.-

  8. RT is ridicules. Only makes Windows harder to understand. Drop that shit MS and gief us full package….

  9. RT my super ASS…

If Nokia launches RT, they launches SHIT. If they launch Pro, they launch GOLD.

  10. I think its going to be great Wndpws RTis lacking but still has its pros people said same things about windows phone 7 and the Lumia 900 still did ok.

  11. Am I the only one around here that actually thinks this tablet could be the turning point for Windows RT?!
