iPhone iPad How To Free Up Space – Get More Memory w/ IOS 11

welcome back to online video student. today we’re going to be taking a look at how to free up space on your iphone or iPad using the ios 11. almost everybody with an iphone or an ipod is always  looking for one thing: more space.  today we’re going to be taking a quick look at a couple of ways to clear out space on your iphone or your ipad  especially using iOS 11 One of the first places to probably look is under photos. when you delete an item from your photo roll it doesn’t delete off of your phone immediately, it’s actually stored in a folder called recently deleted and inside there you’ll see how many days are left before it is actually deleted off of your phone. By selecting them and then hitting delete down in the lower left hand corner you can delete them off of your phone or if you want to keep them hit on the right hand side where it is recover and they’ll be put back into your photo roll. Of course the one thing to remember when you hit delete from the recently deleted folder: those photos are gone forever. In IOS 11  under settings there’s been some changes to how you  can examine and manage your storage. Under general you’re going to see something brand new: it’s called iphone storage. It’s a little different name for what  you’re going to see inside. One of the first things you are going to is select show all This will open up the recommendations tabs an IOS11 will show you some of the options you’ve got now such as reviewing personal videos, actually going through itunes videos, reviewing large attachments and it will also show you a breakdown of all of your applications and how much storage space they’re taking. The next area we’re going to look at is  review large attachments. When someone sends you a text message with an animated gif or a picture or a movie attached your phone actually stores that and until you delete it  or you delete the entire conversation. That’s taking up space on your phone and this is an easy way to go through look at them and choose which ones you want delete without having to delete the entire conversation from that person or losing important text messages. Review large attachment sorts the images and attachments by size from the largest to the smallest. To remove it simply sweep to the left and you can always open any of them up to make sure it’s what you want delete or not delete. An important thing to remember when using review large attachments is that when you delete anything using this it’s gone forever. So unless you’ve saved it either to your photo roll or somewhere else whatever you delete it’s gone for good. The next iPhone storage tool we’re going to take a look at his offload unused apps. It’s pretty easy concept understand:i think all of us have been stalled apps that we used once twice but then again we also have apps on there that we’ve never used or haven’t used an exceptionally long time. The concept with offload us that you are able to delete the application but at the same time keep any documents or files that are associated with that application or to be able to easily delete the application and all associated files from your phone freeing up a lot of space. As you can see iphone storage sorts out all of your applications and it shows you how much space they’re taking up. It also shows you when the last time was that you used this application. One thing to keep in mind though is whenever i installed iOS 11 it reset all of the dates so a lot of applications that i know i have used now say “never used.:  You have to keep an eye on that. Offload works two ways manually you can go in and select an application, you can choose to offload the app or to actually delete it if you choose offload it simply deletes the application but it keeps all the files. If you choose delete application, it deletes the application and all associated files with it. Simply tap it confirm it and it’s gone and you freed up that space. […]
